Inside Atelier Sigma's print room.
We met Atelier Sigma at a print fair. They were the only booth with a working risograph and a stack of finished case-file folios that nobody seemed to be selling.
Six months later, almost every visual mark across the Sherlock catalog has a trace of them in it. The dossier numerals, the redaction bars, the way the circle-S sits inside the ring — all sketched in their Brooklyn studio.
This piece is a walk through that room. The press, the archive shelves, the things they wouldn't let us photograph.
